Sweet Kadubu Recipe – The story of Veena Praveen
A homemaker who recently started out her business venture in catering food orders, Veena Praveen is a food and cooking enthusiast. Specialising in South Indian food, both savoury and sweets, she can make any dish in a jiffy due to her experience and expertise. Over the years, she has worked on and perfected classic recipes that her family loves! Owing to this attribute, she started her home delivery in Bangalore under the name ‘Veena’s Kitchen’, which serves good vegetarian meals to students or working class people on a regular basis. When the world is moving towards global recipes, fancy food, Veena Aunty has preserved the traditional Indian food in her kitchen with the smell of sambhar, idlis, hot dosas, Bisibele bath and many more delicacies.
Her daughters sing praises of her cooking and assist her in the venture, specifically in the technical aspects whereas she takes care of the cooking. She is warm and welcoming by nature, which is why she could not stop serving us the sweet Kadubus made hot and fresh from the kitchen. It is a South Indian sweet made traditionally during festivals which is free of refined sugar and tastes divine! It is rather simple to make or maybe Veena Aunty made it look simple!
