Basque Cheesecake is the perfect no crust bake you need to try!

Cheesecake is a popular dessert, a favorite of many, including ours. We usually don’t attempt making cheesecake at home as there have been a few times when we messed it up! But, when we read about the no crust burnt cheesecake or basque cheesecake, we knew we had to give it a shot! To our utter relief, it came out perfect in the first attempt, which made all the efforts worthwhile! This a creamy dessert that you can enjoy a slice of, with your coffee. The burnet crust, gives it the golden touch and the perfect texture that it deserves. This is something new we tried creating at home, when we got tired of baking the usual cakes and cookies. It was a refreshing bake and a super yummy one, that we are now ready to share with you! Read on for the recipe:


1.5 Cups Cream Cheese

½ Cup Condensed Milk

4 tbsp Corn Flour

5 tbsp Milk Powder

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

½ Cup Yogurt

½ Cup Fresh Cream


  1. In a big bowl, add the cream cheese and condensed milk. Blend both to a smooth paste.
  2. Then, add the corn flour, milk powder, baking powder and salt. Blend everything together.
  3. Add the yogurt and fresh cream.
  4. Combine everything with a hand blender till you get a smooth paste.
  5. Line a baking tray and pour the mix in it.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 40 minutes. You will get a golden crust once its baked.
  7. Freeze this for 4-5 hours in a normal freezer and allow the cheesecake to set.
  8. Once its ready, cut slices and serve!
